English Lake District
Near the summit of Side Pike with The Langdale Pikes looking magnificent in the late afternoon late, an old wall and fence is falling into ruin. Who built a wall this high up who knows, but I am sure it won’t be repaired! Location: Side Pike, Lake District, UK Catalogue Reference: A-1801-2100 Copyright © 2018 Phil Corley
Approaching Weather - Blea Tarn
It was a day of sunshine and snow showers. Still in the "golden hour" of winter (generally lasting for 2 hours after sunrise and 2 hours before sunset), the skies over the Langdale Pikes darkened indicating the approach of the next heavy shower of snow and rain.Location: Birt Knott, Lake DIstrict, UK Catalogue Reference: A-1801-2081 Copyright © 2018 Phil Corley
After a day with a blanket of high cloud all over the Lake District, it was only at the end of the day that the cloud started to break-up. Not having taken an image of a typical Lake District Jetty before, I was rather pleased with how this shot came out.Location: Coniston Water, Cumbria Catalogue Reference: 7-1015-0058 Copyright © 2015 Phil Corley
